Hello, World

Well, it seems today that journalists and bloggers are practically kinfolk.  Who would’ve guessed that my first reporting assignment would be to create a weblog?  A reflection of the times, as they’d say.  Well, I’m young, I’m hip, I can keep up!  So from this point forward, this site will work as an online portfolio for my reporting work and will feature some video and photography as well.
